Ca' Foscari's “Global at Venice" Fellowship Programme is Open

Ca' Foscari's “G@V - Research and Training for Global Challenges” Co-fund Fellowship Programme, a 60-month project launched by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and jointly funded by the European Commission's Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND scheme that is designed to offer 15 24-month post-doctoral fellows from around the globe a truly international, interdisciplinary, and inter-sectoral training experience.

The project aims to strengthen high-profile researchers’ capacities through collaboration with Ca' Foscari's Institute for Global Challenges -- a transdisciplinary centre where thematic groups develop advanced research to face current and future global challenges -- in order to provide Europe and the world with a pool of researchers capable of bridging the gap between academic and applied research, and between research and the market.

Eight fellows were selected last year, and the call for applications for the remaining 7 fellowships is now online. The deadline to apply is August 5.
Applicants are requested to submit their own research proposal in connection with one of Ca' Foscari's six multidisciplinary Research for Global Challenges Institutes (RGCI), selecting the one best suited to support their individual research and training needs.

As a G@V Fellow you will:

• Enhance skills and networking by working with qualified scholars in an excellent scientific research training path

• Conduct an independent research project of your choice that aligns with the research areas of Ca’ Foscari Institute for Global Challenges
